Our Team

Scott Joined Next Step Surveying in March 2026 working as our Civil Lead for our Sunshine Coast based operations. 

Scott stated his surveying career in 2013 in the Surat Basin, working on gas pipeline and accommodation infrastructure projects. 

From here Scott transitioned into Transport and Main Roads (TMR) projects, specialising in pre-design surveys for major infrastructure developments. During this time, Scott was involved in several significant projects, including the Varsity Lakes to Tugun upgrade, the Coomera Connector, and the Toowoomba Bypass. 

After these projects Scott moved into the construction sector, where he has worked across a diverse range of projects including residential and industrial subdivisions, bridge construction, and solar farms. 

Outside of work, Scott is passionate about health and fitness. Scott competed at the Ironman World Championships and lately has made Running is a big part of his life where he attributes the discipline and challenge that comes with training to his work ethic and dedication to his chosen profession.
